Contract Accounting Manager / IFRS Specialist (CONTRACT, 3 – 4 MONTHS)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparation of draft MD&A and Financial Statements on a quarterly basis
- Coordinate the review and audit by independent auditors ensuring all audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with Canadian GAAP/IFRS and all Federal and Provincial laws
- Must have knowledge of IFRS
- Knowledge of Microsoft office, Caseware and QuickBooks software
QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES
- Completion of a professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CA) or close to completion
- Must have experience working in the mining/oil and gas industry at a public company.
- Must have experience with IFRS Conversions.
- Must have experience with MD&A and F/S.
- Advanced excel skills
- Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
