Tax Specialist
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (dependant on experience) + bonus potential
Location: Toronto
Reports to: Manager or Partner
Our client, a public accounting firm, is looking for a Tax Specialist to join their team. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for:
- Tax planning at the corporate level for diverse clients
- Participate in a broad range of tax-related work requiring analysis, assessment, and quantification
- Corporate tax compliance and provisions
- Corporate reorganizations and estate planning
- Dealing with CRA on tax audits and appeals
- Providing tax advice to partners and staff members
Qualifications
- CA designation preferred
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years experience within a similar role
- Must have successfully completed Level 1 and working towards Level 2 of In-Depth tax
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
