Manager, Financial and Analysis

$75,000 - $90,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus potential

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key member of the management team will lead the financial planning, analysis, and reporting cycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborating with senior management and cross-functional groups to develop a financial budget across all brands.
Monitor actual results vs. operating plan and latest estimate, and provide meaningful business analysis and relevant reporting to all stakeholders.
Monthly income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis and forecasting
Work with sales and marketing on assessing financial impact of new initiatives
Liaise with manufacturing group to develop understanding of product-level costs and development of product-level P&Ls
Management of one direct report
Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes to facilitate the planning function
Ad hoc analysis for management and other cross functional stakeholders
Special projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES

8+ years experience in a Finance / Accounting environment, consumer packaged goods experience preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
University degree in Business / Finance / Accounting and professional designation (CA, CMA, CGA or MBA) required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong team player with good written and oral communication skills
Advanced proficiency of Microsoft applications (esp. Excel)
Passion for process simplification and improvement
Ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail
