ACCOUNTANT - 2 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION
Start Date: ASAP (2 month contract with potential to go longer and/or permanent)
Pay Rate: $20 - $25/hour (dependant on experience)
Location: Toronto
Reports to: CFO
The Opportunity
Our client, a mortgage and financing real estate development company, is looking for an accountant to join their Finance & Accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for general accounting duties consisting of;
- Cash reconciliations
- G/L reconciliations
- Preparation of spreadsheets
- Reconciling inter-company balances
Qualifications
- Candidate must have at least 2 – 3 years experience in a similar accounting role
- Must be strong in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
- Must be able to work quickly and independently
- Candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
